Dr. Tao Chen, Assistant Professor. He received his PhD from Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on the environmental treatment and resources recovery of non-ferrous metal mines, and the remediation of heavy metal- contaminated soil. He is the principal investigator (PI) of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Guangdong provincial science and technology program, etc, and has published 17 research papers in Chinese core journals and international journals. He is committed to the combined applications of environmental science/technology and engineering, and has completed more than 10 projects commissioned by industry. He has 5 authorized invention patents, and is the awardee of the second prize of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Award.
